Ottawa police seeking missing man, 17, last seen March 1

The Ottawa Police Service on Thursday issued a call for public assistance in locating a 71-year-old man considered missing for nearly two weeks.

Richard Legris was last seen on Saturday, March 1, in the 100 block of Murray Street in the ByWard Market, police said in a news release.

Legris was described as a white man standing approximately six feet (183 centimetres) tall and with a heavy build, grey, wavy hair and a full grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a black winter jacket.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222.
