Virender Sehwag-Aarti Ahlawat headed for divorce? This speculation intensified when both unfollowed each other on Instagram and Aarti’s absence from family events, such as Diwali celebrations shared by Virender on social media.

Amid rumours of a separation, Aarti Ahlawat, the wife of former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, is garnering attention as the couple reportedly navigates a challenging phase in their relationship after 20 years of marriage. Recent reports suggest that Aarti and Virender have been living apart for several months. This speculation intensified when both unfollowed each other on Instagram and Aarti’s absence from family events, such as Diwali celebrations shared by Virender on social media. Sources indicate that Virender may be planning to file for divorce, although neither party has made an official statement regarding their relationship status.

Who is Aarti Ahlawat?

Aarti Ahlawat was born on December 16, 1980, in New Delhi. She completed her education at Lady Irwin Secondary School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan before obtaining a diploma in Computer Science from Maitreyi College, Delhi University. Aarti and Virender’s love story began in childhood when they first met at a wedding when they were five and seven, respectively. It took Virender 14 years to realise his feelings for Aarti. At 21, he proposed, and she said yes. Their bond grew over the years, leading to their marriage in 2004 at a lavish ceremony hosted by former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

The couple has two sons: Aryavir, born in 2007, and Vedant, born in 2010. Throughout their marriage, Aarti has been recognized not only as a supportive partner but also as an accomplished businesswoman, holding directorial positions in several companies.

Aarti has largely maintained a low profile throughout her marriage but has faced challenges, including a business scandal in 2019 involving forged signatures by partners. Despite these hurdles, she has demonstrated resilience and independence.
