There’s a rally for him to win the ITV reality show’s 2025 series as the final nears
Jack P Shepherd’s Coronation Street co-star has called out a list of reasons why he should win Celebrity Big Brother as an unexpected moment was seemingly missed.
The actor has officially made it to the final of the ITV reality show having escaped two early evictions. After spending 25 years playing David Platt in Corrie, Jack took his first-ever punt on reality TV which could be about to pay off.
He’ll go up against Danny Beard, Chris Hughes, JoJo Siwa, Donna Preston and Chesney Hawkes during the big live finale of the 2025 series, which takes place on Friday night (April 25).
And if Jack were to win, it would see him go further than Corrie co-star Colson Smith, who is bowing out of the ITV soap as Craig Tinker this year, who finished in third place during the 2024 series.
Ahed of the final, a post was shared to Jack’s main Instagram grid which featured a video of some of his house highlights alongside a list of reasons why he deserves to be crowned this year’s Celebrity Big Brother champ.
The caption alongside the post read: “REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR JACK TO WIN CBB. He’s been authentically himself every single day. He’s enjoyed every second of the experience, throwing himself into every task.
“He’s stayed out of the drama and made everyone laugh in the house and back at home. He’s relatable and LOVES his tea. He’s been through a journey in the house from being nominated for the first two weeks to being A FINALIST!!! He’s never done reality TV before & we’re SO PROUD OF HIM for trying something new.
“He’s given us plenty of MEMES. He’s an OG fan of the show. Jack has served us the iconic character of David Platt for the PAST 25 YEARS!!” The message ended: “If we’ve persuaded you enough, download the @bbuk app and use ALL your five votes for Jack to win Celebrity Big Brother 2025.”
Colson was quick to respond to the post as he referred to an unexpected moment from the latest live stream in which Jack was seen walking around the house in just his underwear as the houstmates went to put their heads down for the night.
The actor asked: “What about him in his tighty whiteys on live stream?” to which Jack’s partner Hanni, who has been running her future husband’s account while he’s been in the house, responded with a string of crying laughing emojis.
