China called on the United States on Sunday to “correct its mistakes” by cancelling its planned tariff hikes and return to a “path of mutual respect” towards Beijing. After his tariffs sent global markets plummeting this week, US President Donald Trump announced a 90-day delay for most countries, including the EU, but not for China.
